Tired

Okay, it is far too hard to keep up with these guys - I keep missing stuff. So the liveblogging is over. I'll try to post my debate analysis soon.

Overall, I thought she did well, but I don't think it will change people's minds much.

You would think that most people who watch the debates already know who they are going to vote for, right?

I liked reading your perspective. I'm kind of "for" making sure CEOs and the like don't make a bazillion inflated dollars off my hard-working girlie back, and I rather like hugging trees (except for the bugs and occasional birdie doodles); but I still enjoyed your post. :)

@Heather: Since I took macro and micro economics in college (it was my second major after all, preceded by aeronautical engineering, and followed by journalism, and then economics. Oh yeah, and my minor was in Russian studies, as impractical as that has turned be, lol).

So where was I? Oh yeah. Since I took macro and micro economics in college, I started down the "dark path" of conservatism. Actually, I am more libertarian (lowercase 'l' than conservative.

I'm too tired to type anything coherent tonight. Need sleep...

I was raised conservative, took micro and macro, got a business degree, work at a top-10 B-school, and somehow I still ended up this way. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for fiscal responsibility; but life has impressed upon me the notion that we're all in this together. Plus, these days you see so much line crossing. . . In a couple more years--liberal will be conservative and conservative wil be liberal--again. Seems politics has become more of a puppet show these days. With a few exceptions, it's like showbiz for the rich and untalented. ;)

These debates make me long for the "Good Old Days" when we had real LEADERS and not these partisan puppets who only want to get reelected. Where have all the statesmen gone???
