It's not looking good for McCain. Not at all. Ohio has been projected to choose Obama already. That is a major blow to McCain - there is very little chance for him to recover.
The proverbial fat lady isn't singing. But she's on stage. The orchestra is tuned up. The conductor's baton is poised. The fat lady is clearing her throat.
Maybe there will be something out of left field. Not all the precincts have reported in yet, so things might still change. Or not.
Could this be the beginning of the end of the American Era? Not yet, I don't think. Maybe the Dems will fracture once they are in power in both the Executive and Legislative branches. Maybe they'll screw things up so badly that Americans will elect a good conservative, or God willing, an honest to God libertarian to office. After all, it took Jimmy Carter to get Ronald Reagan.
The FoxNews team is having fun, at least. They are eating cookies. Mmm, cookies.

And yet I still got the comment in my email. Let's not trash the Constitution - I think it will get trashed or at least severely stretched in the next few years.
Then again, maybe we could change it really really quick so that McCain would win. You should sneak into wherever they keep the Constitution and mark out the parts we don't need. Or maybe some whiteout? Or just write down "McCain wins" on a postit and stick it on the Constitution somewhere. Be creative!
Did I trash the constitution with my comment? That is certainly not what I meant. I just think the electoral college needs some work.
If the constitution had been written today it would be electronic and you wouldn't white out and post it notes would be virtual.
