Places I Dream About Seeing

(in response to Dee's post of the same title)

I dream of going to an America not falling into the grip of leftist idealism and socialistic dogma.

I dream of seeing an America where the Constitution is venerated and not interpreted to say anything people want.

I dream of seeing an America that still values individualism, private property rights, freedom of expression, and freedom to worship without interference from the state.

I dream of going to an America that won't tax our economy to death.

I dream of seeing an America that rewards those who risk and succeed in the free market with increased opportunities.

I dream of going to an America that doesn't punish those who prosper at the expense of those who won't even try.

I dream of seeing an America that places the precious value of human life over the freedom of choice of a woman.

I dream of going to an America where race just doesn't matter.

I dream of seeing an America that doesn't sacrifice our freedoms in the name of 'equal outcomes'.

I dream of going to an America where the radio waves are filled with dissenting opinions on political matters - the more voices, the better - instead of quieting the political air waves in the name of "equal time".

I dream of seeing an America where paying taxes is NOT considered patriotic.

I dream of going to an America where the free press is truly free - free of bias towards one group or another.

I dream of seeing an America which returns to her roots instead of turning away from them.

I dream of going to an America where the people don't look to the government for solutions - instead, they look to themselves.

I dream of seeing an America like this someday, once again.
